“Under the Influence” is a recognition of varied events, surroundings, history and other elements that come into play whether consciously or unconsciously.  The drawing series on mylar was done after a walk along the American River among all the dry angular grasses and trees near the levee. “Uninvited Guest” and “Uninvited Guest List” question our own personal history, the traits and interests that are passed down from previous generations that effect our choices and become part of our art - invited or not.
