“Run, Rabbit” is a title borrowed from an old English children’s poem. Like other children’s poems, it was chanted without full knowledge of the words. Other works in the exhibition are in support of “Run, Rabbit”. Borrowed book titles for the installation are “Indoor Games and Amusements”, “A Twist in the Tale” and “Grave Mistake”. The prints on exhibit are monotypes, printed from plexi plates using oil based etching inks and BFK Rives rag paper. The monotype process lends itself well to working spontaneously on the plate with results unique to printmaking. Unlike other printmaking methods, each monotype is one of a kind.
